Oluliz Global Service LLC
Privacy Policy
How Oluliz collects, uses, shares, stores and protects personal data across its website, customer accounts and logistics operations.
Effective and last updated: 4 September 2026
1. Scope and controller
Oluliz Global Service LLC ("Oluliz", "we", "us" or "our") coordinates vehicle procurement, vehicle shipping, freight forwarding, trucking, customs-support, consolidation, warehousing and delivery services. This policy applies when you visit our website, request or receive a quote, create or use an optional account, tender cargo or a vehicle, receive a shipment, communicate with us, make a payment, represent a business customer, supplier or partner, or otherwise interact with our services. Oluliz is the controller for the personal data for which it determines the purposes and means of processing. A seller, auction, carrier, customs authority, payment provider or other partner may be an independent controller under its own privacy notice.
2. Personal data we collect
- Identity and contact data: names, organisation, job title, addresses, email, telephone and WhatsApp details, signatures and identity-verification information.
- Account and access data: account identifier, authentication events, staff permissions, account status and security records. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are not visible to Oluliz staff.
- Quote and shipment data: enquiry and tracking references, origin, destination, route, service type, cargo description, package count, declared and measured weight, dimensions, value, collection instructions, milestones, location hints and proof of receipt or delivery.
- Vehicle, cargo and compliance data: vehicle make, model, year, vehicle identification number, title or ownership information, purchase records, condition and inspection information where available; invoices, packing lists, customs forms, licences, certificates, consignee or shipper details, package photographs and other documents needed for lawful transport, customs clearance or claims.
- Payment and transaction data: invoice details, currency, amount, payment status, bank-transfer reference, payment-provider reference and proof of payment. Card or bank credentials entered on a payment provider's page are processed by that provider and are not stored by Oluliz.
- Communications: email, telephone, WhatsApp, support messages, preferences, complaints, instructions and records of when and how we contacted you.
- Technical and security data: IP-derived pseudonymous rate-limit identifiers, device and browser information, timestamps, session cookies, request logs, security events and website-notice preferences stored on your device.
Please do not send card details, online-banking credentials, passwords or other information we have not asked for through email, WhatsApp or an unprotected form.
3. Sources of personal data
We collect data directly from you; from a person or organisation arranging a shipment for you; from shippers, consignees, authorised representatives and business customers; from carriers, airlines, shipping lines, trucking companies, customs brokers, warehouse and delivery partners; from customs, port, tax, security or regulatory authorities; and from payment, identity, communications, hosting and security providers. If you provide data about another person, you must be authorised to do so and give them this policy where appropriate.

5. When we share data
We share only data reasonably required for the relevant service or obligation. Recipients may include vehicle sellers, auction platforms and dealers; carriers, airlines, shipping lines, trucking companies, consolidators, ports, terminals, warehouses, customs brokers, delivery agents, insurers and surveyors; payment providers and banks; email and communications providers; cloud hosting and authentication providers; professional advisers and auditors; regulators, customs, tax, port, security and law-enforcement authorities; and a buyer or successor in a lawful business reorganisation. Providers acting for Oluliz must process data under appropriate contractual and security obligations. We do not sell personal data or use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
6. International transfers
International logistics necessarily involves data moving between origin, transit and destination countries, including Nigeria, the United States, Canada and other countries served by a shipment. Privacy protections may differ between countries. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism, we use an adequacy decision, contractual safeguards, consent, necessity for the contract or another permitted mechanism, and apply data-minimisation and security controls.
7. Retention
We keep personal data for the period needed to deliver the service and meet legal, customs, tax, accounting, safety, audit, fraud-prevention and claims requirements. Quote enquiries that do not become shipments are retained only for a reasonable follow-up and record period. Shipment, customs, invoice, payment, claim and audit records may be retained for up to seven years after completion, or longer where a legal hold, authority, contract or applicable limitation period requires it. Account and authentication data is retained while access remains active and for a reasonable security period afterward; operational records linked to an account remain subject to their own retention periods. Rate-limit and security information is retained only as necessary to prevent abuse and investigate incidents. When retention ends, data is securely deleted, anonymised or isolated from ordinary use.
8. Security and incidents
We use role-based staff permissions, restricted administrative access, authentication controls, encryption in transit, private document storage, time-limited document links, audit records, provider-signature verification, data minimisation and operational procedures designed to protect data. No system is completely secure. We investigate suspected incidents, take proportionate containment and remediation steps, and notify affected people and authorities where required by law.
9. Your rights and choices
Subject to the law that applies to you, you may ask to be informed about processing; access or receive a copy of your data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion or restriction; object to processing; withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing; request portability; opt out of direct marketing; and ask for human review of an automated decision. Where an applicable privacy law gives you additional rights—including a right to limit certain processing or opt out of a sale, sharing or targeted advertising—you may exercise them through the contact details below. Rights may be limited where data must be retained for a shipment, legal obligation, security, fraud prevention or legal claim. We may verify your identity and authority before responding and will respond within the period required by applicable law.
10. Children
Our services are directed to adults and organisations. We do not knowingly offer accounts or contract directly with children. Where information about a child is necessary for a lawful shipment or delivery, it must be supplied by an authorised adult and will be processed only for the relevant service and legal obligations.

We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on the website or communicated directly where appropriate.
